Let’s “up the Ante” and improve the “game’ for fluid milk sales! Continuing to package milk in cardboard cartons coated in polyethylene is not well received anymore by many consumers. Moreover, it can lead to stale flavor and cannot easily be resealed.
Bottling school milk in plastic bottles will be more appealing to school kids and others as we return to more ordinary schedules. Another incentive for this investment is starting kids out in a milk consumption pattern that may well last for most of their lives (meaning a more positive revenue flow for fluid milk!)
